I wish to thank you for the recent coverage that Gente da Nossa did on the opening of my art show in the Consulate General of Portugal in Toronto, December 4, 2007.
Actually it is always with great pleasure that we view your show, because we find very it very enjoyable, while providing excellent information.
I consider it a great service to our community.
You have news and information of constant interest and many of my friends and members of our association watch your program every week. But I did not realize how popular you are, until I started receiving calls about this event, because they had seen it on TV.
Please keep it up. It is now part of the Saturday morning's routine in our community!

Hi Nellie and Cesar,
It was so nice to be part of the 20th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday! You looked beautiful Nellie.
My parents had a wonderful time too, as did Isabel, her husband and my daughter Caroline. Caroline sat at the table with your son and Fatimas daughter and she enjoyed their company very much. She was happy she came. Of course, I too loved it.
It was nice to see many new friends from our trip there too. Everyone looked like they were having a great evening. The entertainers were great too. I really liked the comedian, Eduardo Murato.
Congratulations again on being on the air for 20 years! Heres to another wonderful 20 years!
I hope to keep seeing all of you regularly, as you are so much fun to be with.

O meu Gedeo Martins-Correia, oriundo da Guiné, uma antiga colónia portuguesa situada na costa ocidental Africana. Actualmente estou vivendo cá em Mississauga. Como um individuo afro-lusfono, tenho sempre em mim aquele desejo de estar associado à vida lusfona, onde quer que seja. Adoro imensamente o mundo lusfono, o modo de viver, a nossa cultura e a maneira de estar! Tenho vindo a acompanhar os programas da Gente da Nossa durante muitos anos, visto que o único programa televisivo que me liga tradição lusofona.

Just thought I would just pass on a note to you. I'm still wacting your show
on Saturday mornings and love it, even if I can't understand the language.
It's nice to have something different from another culture. I hope you had a
nice summer and that you enjoy the Fall weather for they say it's going to
stay warm for a while yet. Maybe sometime your crew should take a visiit to
Prince Edward County where I live with my wife, we have some nice restarants
and winery's. There are lots of information on the web site, all you have to
do is press in Prince Edward County and go from there. Bye for now and keep

Matei saudade e gostei imenso de ver a vossa viajem a S.Miguel, eu sou Terceirense mas gosto e aprecio tudo que nosso Portugues; e as paisagens dos Açores sao todas muito queridas para mim.

uma e da Ribeira Quente, aonda aparece o mar, e uma encosta com aquelas casinhas tipicas, outra um caminho com muitas arvores dos dois lados e gostava que aparese o sign a direita, a outra do fim do programa aonde aparece um barco bem de perto e ao longe um pouco da cidade... e se nao for possivel nao ha problema eu compreendo.

Um pouco sobre esta que vos escreve, eu sou natural da linda e saudosa ilha Terceira, vim para America, Falmouth Cape Code, Massachussets com 12 anos e presentemente vivo nesta grande e bonita California, mas sempre com saudade e muito carinho pela minha/nossa terra Natal. Eu para passa tempo gosto de vez enquanto pintar, mas gosto de pintar coisas nossas, como galochas, croa do Espirito Santo, moinhos, e chafarizes... aquilo que me toca ca bem no fundo do coracao com muito estima e carinho.

sai de lá quando tinha 15 anos por isso desculpe se houver erros de gramatica.
já ando muito muito tempo para lhe mandar este email mas vai me faltando a coragem
ate que decidi que não passava de hoje.Eu escrevi um poema para os 50 anos da imigração dos
Portugueses para o Canada, contatei com alguem da comunidade social (rádio) que me disseram
que fariam algo mas nada fizeram fiquei desapontada e nada mais fiz no sou decidida como a Nellie
por isso hoje estou lhe mandando este email eu pensei se pudesse-mos nem que fosse
oferecer uma copia às pessoas que vierão para cá 50 anos.O que a Nellie acha ? o poema tem
13 quadras nao so quadras porque tem mais de 4 linhas outro nome mas no sei qual
mando lhe esta quadra se a Nellie quizer eu mando-lhe o poema todo.

Hello Nellie!
I just wanted to congratulate you on the website. It was a great idea to have the last episode on the internet because sometimes we cannot see it on TV.
Hopefully, one day we will be able to view all the episodes that have been on TV. It would be great to see some old shows and bring back some great memories!
